Biroczky |
Stephen Biroczky
Mr. Biroczky currently serves as CEO of Levlad Inc., a producer, packager and marketer of personal care products and brings with him over thirteen years of experience in the branded, natural, personal care products industry. He began his business career as a tool and die maker, specializing in the plastics industry. After several years in this industry, Mr. Biroczky switched to the nascent semiconductor industry where he eventually became a senior engineer with IBM Corporation. The developments in plastic applications in the 70’s lured Mr. Biroczky back to that field. He advanced rapidly in managerial responsibility from Plant Manager to General Manager to President of Evans Products and A&E Products Group. He left A&E Products Group in 1990 to join Levlad as general manager. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Biroczky was CEO of Arbonne International and Levlad, Inc. simultaneously.

Henry |
Robert M. Henry
Mr. Henry has significant experience in the direct
selling industry as well as the consumer products industry.
Currently he serves as CEO of Arbonne International, working
closely with the Executive Team on a daily basis. From
2000 - 2003, he served as CEO of Mannatech, an international
network marketing nutraceutical company with 237,000 distributors
in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Mr. Henry led a turnaround at Mannatech, restructuring
and returning it to profitability. From 1998 - 2000, Mr.
Henry advised Gryphon Investors on investment opportunities
in the direct selling industry. From 1986 - 1998, he served
in a number of positions with Hosiery Corporation of America
(1995 - 1998), McCaffrey and McCall Partners (1990 - 1995),
Saatchi and Saatchi Holdings (1986 - 1995) and Amway Corp
(1982 - 1986). At Amway Corp, Mr. Henry managed corporate
controllership of a $1.5 billion multinational direct sales
company. Mr. Henry also served in a number of capacities
for Avon Products from 1971 to 1982. He last served as
Avon’s
regional controller supporting a thirteen-state sales region
as well as the then-largest cosmetics manufacturing facility
in North America.

Ira D. Kleinman
Mr. Kleinman is currently a Senior Managing Director of Harvest Partners. He joined Harvest in 1984. Previously, Mr. Kleinman was in the Treasury Department of American International Group, one of the world’s largest insurance companies. Before that, he was a Financial Analyst at Bank of New York. He has a BA degree in Accounting from State University of New York, Binghamton and an MBA from St. John’s University. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Kleinman serves on the Boards of Associated Materials, Community Distributors, Edgen, Global Power, Lund, New Flyer and now Arbonne International.

Michael B. DeFlorio
Mr. DeFlorio is currently the Managing Director of Harvest Partners. He joined Harvest in 2003 and has over 10 years of private equity and corporate finance experience. Prior to joining Harvest, he was a Partner at J.H. Whitney & Co. where he completed private equity transactions in a number of sectors including general industrial, business services and healthcare. Before Whitney, he held positions at American Industrial Partners where he focused on acquiring middle market manufacturing business, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in corporate finance. Mike has a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Mike serves on the Boards of Communications Supply Corporation and Logisco.
Jules Zimmerman, CPA
Mr. Zimmerman is the retired President and Chief Executive Officer of Hickok Associates, Inc. a financial consulting firm. He was a senior Officer with Avon Products, Inc. from 1976 to 1985 and Chief Financial Officer from 1985 to 1988. Prior to joining Avon, Mr. Zimmerman was a partner with the accounting firm of Hurdman and Cranstoun (now KPMG Peat Marwick) and led the firms’ practice in Europe. He was involved with the recent Rolling Stones World Tour in a financial oversite role. Mr. Zimmerman is a Director of Overseas Military Sales Corporation. He was a Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Greenpoint Financial Corporation from 1993 to 2000. He served as a Director and Co-Chairman of Mannatech, Inc. He also served as a Director of the First Women’s Bank, New Hampton Inc., Projectavision Inc., Manhattan Scientific Inc., Natural Child Care Inc., Associated Blind and Talbot Perkins Children’s Services. He is a member of the AICPA and was a member of the Financial Executive Institute, and the Executive Committee of the Puerto Rico USA Foundation. He was President of the New York Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. He also served on the Washington based Private Sector Council of Chief Financial Officers Task Force.
Dr. John B. Elstrott, Jr.
Dr. Elstrott is a Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship and the Director of the Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, LA. He holds a bachelor and masters degrees in economics from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge and a doctorate in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. Elstrott teaches courses in entrepreneurship and has research interests in the areas of entrepreneurship, family business, strategic planning, regional economic development, technology commercialization and the environment. He has won numerous teaching and entrepreneur awards. Prior to joining the Tulane University faculty, Dr. Elstrott was Chief Financial Officer for Celestial Seasonings, Inc. He is an active entrepreneur in the venture capital, oil field service, hazardous waste clean-up, telecommunications, music, pharmaceutical, financial services, and natural foods industries. Dr. Elstrott serves on the boards of several public and private corporations and non-profit community service organizations. He serves as the lead director and chair of the audit committee for Whole Foods Market, Inc.
Paddy Spence
Mr. Spence is the health and wellness industry’s recognized authority on marketing and merchandising trends, and has led the effort to implement fact-based, strategic analysis of opportunities in this sector. He has authored articles on health and wellness trends for a variety of trade and academic publications, and is frequently quoted in consumer media. Most recently, Mr. Spence served as Chairman of SPINS, a leading provider of health and wellness market research which he sold to private investors in 2004. In 1995, he founded SPINS to introduce sophisticated marketing information services to the rapidly growing health and wellness industry, and served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer for eight years. Prior to founding SPINS, Mr. Spence served as Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Kashi Company, a manufacturer of natural cereals based in La Jolla, CA. He has also held positions at Harvard Business School’s Division of Research, the Center for Leadership and Career Studies at Emory University and United Parcel Service’s International Marketing department. Mr. Spence holds an A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
